Learn Anytime/Anywhere!!
Through CWLA's New Accredited On-Line Courses
The Child Welfare League of America, in partnership with Essential Learning, is now offering easy access to continuing education and professional development courses for a broad range of child welfare and human service workers, clinicians, supervisors, and managers. These concise, yet comprehensive, courses will help professionals meet agency, regulatory, and professional licensing requirements, as well as keep up with the latest developments in the field, from their office and home computers. And CWLA member agencies and their staff will receive a 10% discount on all courses.
Through our web site, professionals have access to Essential Learning's entire library of courses. In addition, CWLA will be adding new courses every month. To purchase a course or browse currently available courses, follow the directions at the left of the screen. To locate the current CWLA courses look for:
- CWLA Courses (courses based on CWLA training programs)
- CWLA Books (courses based on selected books published by CWLA)
- CWLA Periodicals (courses based on journals and newsletters published by CWLA)
- CWLA Recommended (Essential Learning courses recommended by CWLA)
To get the 10% CWLA member discount, you must have the member code. It can be obtained from the Members Only Content page on www.cwla.org/userportal or by emailing MemberServices@cwla.org.
To obtain additional information on the entire process, use the "Getting Started" and other buttons at the top of the screen.
Interested in making this library of courses available to everyone in your agency?
CWLA members may also develop a customized site for their agency. An organizational site is a comprehensive online training and management system with top-notch reporting and monitoring capabilities. This provides on-demand access to all courses for your entire staff at any time, with payment of a set monthly fee. This model also allows you to customize courses from the on-line library, add your own courses and develop new courses with the assistance of Essential Learning staff. To learn more, contact info@essentiallearning.com or call 1-800-729-9198 or visit our website at www.essentiallearning.com.
